Westport Town Hall Theatre
Admission €10 on the door

The festival first ever workshop in 2009 was a harmony singing workshop.

This year we introduce this fantastic workshop with the legendary Cox Family.

This will be a very special and unique opportunity to learn form one of the world’s best family bands known for their unique harmony singing.

The Cox Family from Cotton Valley, Louisiana continues a trademark sound spanning over seventy years of traditional roots in gospel, bluegrass and country music.

The continued legacy of founding member Willard Cox lives on through his son Sidney Cox and his daughters – Anna, Sara, and Lydia. Sidney’s oldest daughter (Anna) now plays bass and entered the band with her father and two aunts in 2016. Later, his two younger daughters: Sara (guitar) and Lydia (mandolin) joined the band in 2020.

Together, they have stayed true to the familiar harmonies by adding another generation to the music that audiences from all over the world have enjoyed for years.
